The problems we built for

01 · Dinner night runs on a borrowed SquareYour biggest revenue night processes on someone's personal account — separate money, separate statement, manual reconciliation for weeks.
02 · Nobody knows the real rateLegacy processors bury effective rates in statements no human reads. Most institutions genuinely can't say what a card swipe costs them.
03 · Payment lives outside the platformWhen the terminal isn't connected to the family record, every in-person payment becomes a bookkeeping orphan.
What you get

Built for your money

Terminals & tap-to-payCountertop readers for the office, and tap-to-pay on any phone for dinners, auctions and registration nights — no extra hardware to buy for events.
QR payments everywhereA QR code on every dinner table, auction display and pledge card — guests pay from their seat, receipts send instantly.
Embedded checkoutPayments built into every form, portal, store and campaign page — one processing relationship behind every dollar.
Lowest-cost transparent pricingInterchange-plus pricing with every fee itemized. As a payments company first, our rates are the product — not an afterthought.
No-cost surcharge optionEnable surcharging and card-paying families cover the card fee, with ACH never surcharged. The institution keeps 100%.
One reconciliationIn-person, online and portal payments settle together, mapped to the exact families and events they came from.
The hardware

Terminals for every setting

From the office to the dinner reception table — modern, kosher-simple payment hardware matched to how your institution actually collects. Terminal lineup and models confirmed during onboarding based on your volume and setting.

Countertop smart terminalFor the office. A touchscreen terminal at the front desk for tuition payments, registration fees and walk-in donations — chip, tap, swipe and receipt printing, synced to the family's record automatically.
Wireless handheld terminalFor the dinner & events. Battery-powered smart terminals that roam the reception — take pledges and auction payments table-side on WiFi or cellular, with every charge tagged to the campaign.
Tap to Pay on phoneFor everywhere else. Turn any modern iPhone or Android into a contactless terminal — no hardware at all. The raffle table, the bake sale, and the gabbai collecting after davening.
Virtual terminalFor phone & mail payments. Key in a card from any browser when a grandparent calls in a donation or a parent reads a card over the phone — securely, landing on the right family record.

Sample data. Every payment lands on the family record and the campaign total updates live on the auction screen.
Tagged to the campaignJournal ads, auction lots, pledges and tickets each land on the right family and the right fund — the dinner closes with a report, not a shoebox.
Receipted instantlyThe receipt goes out as the charge clears, dedication included. Nobody mails anything in January.
No borrowed accountThe dinner settles to the institution's own bank account on the same statement as tuition — one reconciliation, not three.
Why embedded matters

A payment that knows where it belongs

Bolt-on processors mean middleman markups, spreadsheet reconciliation and two support numbers. Embedded payments mean every charge lands on the right record and every money event can trigger an automation.

On the right recordA tap at the office, a QR scan at the dinner and an autopay at 6 AM all show up on the same family record — with the same history.
Money events trigger workA payment clears and the receipt sends; a registration fee lands and the enrollment moves a stage; a pledge is paid and the thank-you goes out.
No hidden layerThe rate is the rate. No software-company markup on top of the processor, because the software company is the processor.

We specialize in lowering card rates for 501(c)(3) organizations: schools and shuls typically save 30–40% on card fees after we take over the account.

No-cost option: compliant surcharging or a pass-through line on your own tuition contract or dues statement — the institution pays nothing to accept cards, and ACH is never surcharged.

Every other platform earns more when you spend more. 613OS earns more when you collect more.
We earn on what flows through the platform — that's the whole model. Cards 2.9% + 30¢ · ACH $1 flat · returned payment $25 at cost · never a per-family fee.

Frequently asked questions

Do we have to buy hardware?
Not for events. Tap to Pay turns any modern iPhone or Android into a contactless terminal with no hardware at all. For the office, a countertop smart terminal handles chip, tap, swipe and receipt printing; for the dinner, wireless handhelds roam the room. The lineup and models are confirmed during onboarding based on your volume and setting.
Is the terminal connected to the family record?
Yes. Every in-person payment — terminal, tap-to-pay, QR or keyed-in — lands on the family, member, event or campaign it belongs to, with the receipt sent instantly. No bookkeeping orphans, no reconciliation from memory.
What does an in-person card payment cost?
The same printed rate as online: cards 2.9% + 30¢, with every fee itemized. With the no-cost option — compliant surcharging or a pass-through line on your own statement — the institution pays nothing to accept credit cards, and ACH is never surcharged.
How does surcharging work at the dinner?
The surcharge is disclosed on the screen and the receipt, applies to credit cards only — never debit — and never exceeds the cost of acceptance. Guests who prefer can pay by debit or ACH from the same QR code at no surcharge. Offered where permitted by applicable law and card-network rules.
Where does the money settle?
To the institution's own bank account, under its own merchant application. In-person, online and portal payments settle together on one itemized statement. 613OS never holds your money.
